Our beginnings

It started with a storm

On September 12, 1979, Mike Carson witnessed Hurricane Frederic’s destruction in Alabama. He assembled workers to aid the community and shared his construction expertise with local builders.

He later established himself as a state-licensed general contractor in Lafayette, Louisiana — constructing custom homes throughout Acadiana during a residential and commercial building boom, and developing specialized crews to handle the framing and foundation needs of residential and commercial builders alike.

Today, Mike Carson Construction, Inc. continues delivering high-quality service across Louisiana and East Texas.
